WHAT WE OFFER:

Flourish Therapy & Consulting provides a range of services including therapy, clinical supervision and professional development training.

Our therapy services are available Gold Coast wide via home visiting and telehealth. Our aim is to provide compassionate and empathetic support to those who struggle to access traditional therapy services (e.g. in a therapy office setting).

WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT:

At Flourish Therapy & Consulting, we've been on the receiving end of unhelpful and unprofessional support services - we've been given bad advice, treated like a number and made to feel our problems aren't important or valid. We get it! And that's why we work hard to provide a service that's underpinned by compassion, empathy and authenticity. We genuinely care about the people we support and are privileged to share in the highs and lows of their lives; celebrating their successes and milestones, grieving their losses and supporting their challenges.

You won't get a traditional therapist at Flourish Therapy & Consulting - rather, you'll get a human being who is passionate and enthusiastic about helping other human beings, and who also happens to be highly qualified and experienced!

OUR SERVICES:

We provide assessment and therapy to children, adolescents, women and parents for a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, pre and postnatal difficulties, low self-esteem and bullying. We have a special interest in working with children and parents to support children with challenging childhood behaviours.

If you're working in the helping professions, we can assist with clinical supervision services, professional development training programs and career development.

We provide a wide range of helpful resources including articles, blogs, worksheets and assessment tools to support you as a parent or professional.

Flourish Therapy & Consulting acknowledges the traditional custodians of the Gold Coast and surrounding areas – the Yugembeh, Yuggera and Bundjalung peoples - and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to them, their cultures and to elders, past present and emerging.

The implementation of such policies contravened the social work profession's core values and contributed to the Stolen Generations. Contemporary Social Work is committed to working with First Nation's people to achieve self-determination and to have Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's social, economic and cultural rights acknowledged and validated.
